This week the whole class did the last current events quiz for 2020 and it was all about some of the interesting things that happened over this year. Out of all of the questions I chose to research the most beautiful town in NZ. I hope my slide informs you about hastings and what it got awarded.

Summer Learning Journey #1

 This is the first SLJ activity for 2020 and its a colouring website that you can choose a painting then you can customise it. I decided that I would only change the sky colour to fit the look of the painting. I really liked doing this because there is heaps of different options of paintings and photos. 

MY Current Events

This is my current events presentation all about what the UK is banning by the year 2030. We started off with doing a class quiz on all of the current events, once that was finished we each got to chose one current event to further research. I really enjoyed doing this activity because I got to research a topic that I wanted to earn more about.

My Current Events

 Recently New Zealand held a Diwali festival in Auckland and I wanted to research more about it for my current events. I liked this activity because we started by doing a quiz on current events then we chose one question to research more about. I hope that my presentation helps you understand more about the festival Diwali.

The Melbourne Cup

Today I made and researched about the Melbourne cup and some main things about it.I really enjoyed doing this because it was a quick and easy activity to learn more about something. I recommend doing this for anyone that needs to research something but they need to make a presentation fast.
 

Current Events

This week we did a current event quiz and one of the questions was about the first black women vice president, Kamala Harris. I liked this activity because it allowed me to research more about the vice president.
 

Sportsmanship Pamphlet

Today I made a pamphlet for the last activity this week . This pamphlet is all about teaching others how to show sportsmanship and what it's all about. I liked this activity because it was a whole different way to present my work. The most challenging part about this was organizing all of the information.
