Today we were learning about Integers. First, we completed a test on positive and negative integers, then we studied how to work them out. Lastly, we made a DLO explain how to work it out to others. I hope this helps.

This week we did two tests to find two spacific things that we need to work on then we worked out how to do them and lastly made a DLO showing others how to work it out.I really enjoyed doing this because as I was teaching others how to do this maths with the DLO;s I also got to learn myself. How To Reflect Shapes

This is my video showing you how to reflect something using maths. I really enjoyed doing this because I get to teach someone else how to do it and so it is easy for you to understand.

Battleships Game

This is my score on battleships. I really enjoyed playing this although it didn't use coordinates it was still fun and the graphics were really cool as well. The challenging part about this game trying to find the enemy's ships but that just makes it more fun.

My Maths DLO

This is my DLO for how to work out point symmetry. I really enjoyed doing this because this video can help other people understand point symmetry.

The Area Of My House

This is how I found the area of my house. The area of my house is 75.87m2, I really enjoyed working out the area of my house because I already had all of the measurements to it so that made it a lot easier. I found it challenging when there was a little bit that I forgot so I wad to recount it but that was alright.

My New And Improved House Plan

This is my new and improved house plan. I have made my house plan by adding added the measurements and the scale which is 1m = 1cm. I enjoyed adding the measurements because without them it didn't really make sense. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I would add the measurements first instead of doing them later.

My House Floor Plan

This is my house floor plan to scale. I made this by measuring my house dimensions then converting the measurements from metres to centimetres. I really enjoyed making this because I got to learn new techniques to draw a house to scale and I think it turned out great.

Basic facts

WALT: Practice our stages for maths.I really enjoyed this because it wasn't just basic facts it was also division and subtraction. I thought that the square roots were difficult. Next to be BTB        ( better than before) I could try a lower stage to practice my square roots.

Escape the halloween Room

                                       WALT: Escape the Halloween escape room successfully.

for maths, we did a Halloween escape room and in that escape room, there was five different clues to get out. I really enjoyed it because the clues used different strategies so you weren't just doing the same thing five times. It was challenging because the clues were difficult.

Word problems

WALT: Answer questions using google drawings and show how we worked them out.
I enjoyed working all the very different problems. I found that it was quite challenging to show how I worked it out.
