WALT: Answer questions using google drawings and show how we worked them out.
I enjoyed working all the very different problems. I found that it was quite challenging to show how I worked it out.

Transformation using grids

Today we got to draw a picture using grids and we could either use polyline or curve line and selected one to draw our picture but we got to do a koru and a tree to do before we did our own picture. I thought that the koru was hard at the start but then it was easier and the tree was harder because of the shading of the colours, but then it was fine.

Hints and Tips For a Litterless Lunch Box

WALT: find alternatives to waste in our lunch boxes
I enjoyed learning heaps of different ways to reduce the rubbish in my lunch box. I thought that thinking of the ways to reduce rubbish was challenging. Now I will try to stop buying bars in plastic I challenge you to stop buying one of the things in your lunch that has plastic on it.

My Maps

We learned how to use Google MyMaps and then we got to look closely at our own environment and locate landmarks. For each landmark we found we had to name it, write something about it and find an image of it so that the pin on our map had information on it. This is my finished map of Wellington. Have you ever used MyMaps to locate places in your community?

Our composting experiment #1

WALT: Write a science experiment using google drawings.
I enjoyed designing a Google drawing. I thought that thinking about how to write the information was challenging. To be better I could put some more detail in.

WALT: describe our emotions while we were at camp.
We made this music to describe how we felt at camp during all of the different activities we did. This is my music from camp and it is all very different and upbeat because the camp activities were all adventures.
